Uganda LGBT crackdown: enforcement of new law begins

Uganda has begun charging people under its draconian new anti-LGBT law, including two men accused of “aggravated homosexuality”, which can carry the death penalty. Human rights activists say many LGBT people have been forced into hiding since the law was passed, while anyone helping or even reporting their case could also be penalised. Warning, there are distressing images from the very start of this report.
