My name is Jonathan (he/him/his) and I am registered to vote in New York. I plan to vote in person, and also plan to volunteer at the polls in Brooklyn. Voting is extremely important to me because it is my opportunity to be heard in our electoral system. Although I am not the most politically active, the presidential election can be monumental in directing the USA, and I want to be an active participant in bettering the country where I live. With that being said, it is a great privilege to have the right to vote as an openly Queer Man. For this reason, I feel an even greater responsibility to vote for the candidate who I feel will protect all human rights; no matter what happens, we still have a lot of work to do post-election. Vote!
