Delhi’s first queer flashmob for LGBTI rights performed to a large crowd in India’s capital on July 26. The initiative was decided on a whim, when a few members of a queer collective in Delhi called Harmless Hugs decided to do something spectacular for the LGBTI cause in the city.
President Obama met with several Kenyan LGBTI rights advocates along with other civil society leaders before leaving the country on July 26. Eric Gitari, executive director of the Kenyan National Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, was one of those attending.

As the European Union and United States push for LGBTI rights, Russia and neighboring countries continue to push for "traditional values."
Benjamin Vandorpe, a transgender man from Canada, has created an app in which users can select a province and see information such as what is required to change one's gender or name on official documents and the names of lawyers and legal organizations that are trans-friendly.
In 2007 Christine Pohl, having suffered years of discrimination and harassment as a transgender woman, jumped from a cliff over fifty feet high, intending to end her life. Miraculously, though the fall left her with numerous fractures - she now has to walk with a cane - she survived. Today she reflects on coming out, seeking acceptance, and life as a transgender woman in the Czech Republic.
