For LGBTI Kenyans and those living in refugee camps being themselves can be dangerous. The freedom to Live, Love, Laugh and Learn with those they choose can have life and death consequences.
Upper Rift Minorities makes these basic freedoms possible for five days each year. Their annual retreat to a lake resort gives 50-70 LGBTI Kenyans and East African refugees the freedom to be their true selves in a safe and supportive environment.
Your support of Alturi’s Live Love Laugh Learn campaign will help raise the funds necessary to make their April 2017 retreat a success.
