Cambridge's Pink Festival is gearing up for a colourful return – after a six year break. The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender fundraising extravaganza first took place in 2003, and over a subsequent five-year run staged events that drew in 10,000 people. It was last staged in 2010 at Cherry Hinton Hall, but in recent years has had a lower profile, hosting the cabaret tent at the city's Big Weekend. In a couple of weeks' time, however, a full weekend of events is planned, headlined by a show at the Corn Exchange starring Andy Bell, best known as the front man of electropop duo Erasure.
