Melbourne Imam Noor Warsame – who is a well-respected leader of a mosque in the Islamic community in Australia – was once married and has a young daughter. The Somali-born man revealed his battle with reconciling his faith and sexual identity for decades – and at one point, he attempted to take his own life after suffering years of trauma.
