Riya, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, was sitting amid women polling officials keeping a watch over the proceedings. "Whether I am a man, woman or transgender, it matters little to me. I am a human being, that is my first and foremost identity and until we get rid of all these taboos, India cannot prosper," said Riya.
