Two Cambridgeshire hairdressers have expanded their business to provide wigs for the transgender community. Harry Williamson and Steven Burry have run the Halo Hair salon in Sawston for almost seven years, and first started providing wigs for clients suffering hair loss for medical reasons. “They become good friends. You get to know your clients quite well when you’re cutting their hair. They tell you a lot about their lives,” said Harry, 31, from Duxford.
