Indonesian raided the home of two alleged lesbians in the city of Depok near the capital Jakarta. The Civil Service Police Unit (Depok Satpol PP) raided the home of the women after neighbors ‘to ensure they are not a lesbian couple’. Homosexuality is not illegal in Indonesia, which is the world’s largest Muslim nation. Depok Satpol PP Deputy Yayan Arianto said police were monitoring the women after people’s ‘observations’ suspected them of being lesbians. Yayan told local media neighbors were worried about the ‘spread of LGBT’ in the community.
